Bringing a Brand Back from the Dead


Have you ever wondered what the cosmetics industry looked like in the 1900's? In my FIDM Brand Imaging course, we looked for a "dead brand" or a brand that no longer exists today, and figure out how to bring them back from the dead. My group looked at a company called Princess Pat Cosmetics that died in the 1960's. We looked into what it would take to bring Princess Pat back today by conducting research on the original brand and finding market trends that would support the re-launch of the brand. We also developed products and branding that aligned with the NEW Princess Pat Cosmetics. Attached below is the presentation and final report given to support the resurgence of Princess Pat Cosmetics.
